Another excellent experience @ Bannister in Vernon. Barry Shaw and John hold down the key customer service positions in the service area for the dealership. Both are highly experienced, knowledgeable and competent. Yesterday’s experience with Barry was bullet-proof, as usual. My car was returned to me with the problem remedied.in short order. Barry was on the phone with me with updates, etc. It is clear that Bannister’s (Vernon) mantra is “Customer Service…Job One!”

Despite not actually buying a car from GM (I’m a diehard manual driver), Jon was fantastic to deal with. He never made me feel pressured, was kind, and friendly to work with.
I honestly don’t know where to begin with how positive my experience was with buying a new truck from Bannister. I have a background in sales and also knew exactly what I wanted (not the easiest) had called 5 or 6 different dealers to find the truck and even got numbers (grossly inflated) from one. I was put in touch with Bradley and unfortunately they didn’t have the truck I wanted. He took my info and said to leave it with him, by 8am the next day he had tracked down the exact truck I wanted and had extremely good numbers ready to go. Kim in the finance office was an absolute dream, efficient, charming and made the entire financing process seamless and transparent.I flew in from the island and they had a driver waiting to take me to the dealer. I was on the road back to the island in under an hour including insurance and Bradley setting everything in the truck up for me because they knew I had a long drive. This was by far the smoothest new vehicle purchase I’ve ever had, I highly recommend going here. Don’t let being from out of town deter you!
My Fiancé and I went into this dealership not knowing exactly what we wanted for our second vehicle. We knew of some options we might be interested in but were still very undecided. Bradley immediately greeted us with a large smile and friendly attitude. He listened to our requests and walked us around the lot to see if anything caught our eye. He was extremly professional and never once made us feel pressured or rushed.He was extremely patient with all of our questions and concerns. We spent most of the morning there looking at and testing out different vehicles we might like. He was there answering all of our questions and had no problem letting us look at each one even if it was just a change of colour. He even offered us several bottles of cold water through the whole process which was lovely during the 36 degree weather we had that day. We eventually decided on the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT. We have had the vehicle for about 2 weeks now and are very pleased all around with our experience both at the dealership and with our vehicle choice. We will be back in the future when it comes time to trade in our other vehicle.

We were traveling from Alberta when my engine light came on my Buick Encore in Golden on July 1. Went into Bannister early Tuesday morning where Barry talked to me put the computer on discovered the problem and found the part. They took our car in immediately and in no time has us on the road to finish our 3 week trip. Excellent service and care. Thank-you Barry and everyone involved.
I worked with Dennis for almost nine weeks to find the right truck for my needs and during that time his motivation never faltered, his understanding of my needs never wavered, and his integrity was proven time and time again as I grew more and more particular and fastidious about the vehicle I wanted to buy. High pressure sales was never a tactic he employed, as he just seems to get what the average person walking onto the lot needs to experience in the purchase of a new vehicle. And while ultimately I was not able to purchase a truck from him after all this time, he has far more than earned my future business and recommendations to friends and family. Huge thank you to Bradley and everyone on the financing side of things who were an incredible help with getting me out of a sticky lease situation. Unlike the typical dealership experience, I never once felt rushed, pressured, or stressed during my visit with them. I felt welcomed and at ease the second I was greeted at the door. Bradley has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and while dealing with all the confusion of getting out of my previous lease, and continued to provide answers to any questions I had, even weeks after I drove away with my new car. Again, thank you so much to everyone who helped me, I will definitely be back in the future and I LOVE my Trax!

We purchased a truck on Friday. We had the best experience ever purchasing a vehicle. Brad initially took care of us, showing us and getting us a deal. Great guy to deal with. Unfortunately he couldn't be there the day we did the paperwork so Mark looked after us and he fantastic. Wonderful person all around, showed us everything and got us completely set up before we left. Kim worked out financing and she was a rock star. Very efficient and met all our needs, covered everything. They had an insurance person already there (Brianna from Johnson and Meyer) and she was also very sweet and efficient. The entire experience blew our minds. Customer service, efficiency, professionalism, I would very highly recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this dealership. 5 stars, two thumbs up. Great job.

My wife and i recently purchased a suv from Patrick Dew and I have been to a lot of dealerships and I must say that Patrick gave us the best experience possible he was very polite ( we had a lot of questions) and answered everyone of them and always picked up the phone when we called. There were a few minor issues with the suv when we got it as it was used and he handled it very fast. I can’t say enough good things and we will be definitely dealing with Patrick again when the time comes for the next one.

I’ve been keeping an eye out on trucks for about a year now. I’ve tire kicked at numerous different dealerships of many different brands (Toyota, Chevy, GMC etc). I was in Vernon for my kids sporting event and had a couple hours to tire kick/test drive at Vernon Bannister. The salesman that I lucked out getting was Jonathon Hamman. I cannot say enough good things about Jon. He was very informative, knowledgeable, and most importantly to me, he was professional and did not over pressure me. He was very respectful and mindful to the purchasing process. Over some very productive negotiations we were able to come to a price and agreement that I found to be very fair for both sides! Yes there are numerous dealerships in kelowna, but I was treated much better in by Jon at Vernon Bannister GM.It’s worth the drive, lots of variety on their lot, good people in the sales centre. Go see Jon for great truck buying experience!

Recently traded in our Tahoe and got a Trax and Seirra. The whole process was awesome. Patrick and Jonathan were very patient, answered all of our questions honestly, and weren't pushy at all, which made this a great adventure. Patrick especially went above and beyond to help us through this! Everyone else at Bannister Vernon was also very helpful and super friendly. They even remembered our daughter's birthday when she came with me to drop off some stuff, which made her feel very special. Additionally, I ordered some accessories, and it was super quick and easy. Great business!
Looked at a used Honda Odyssey they had on the lot that I found on Facebook. Was directed to Jonathon Hamman. He was very helpful and prompt to respond to my email inquires. Soon after I visited the store on a morning and he helped me with viewing the vehicle and going through all of its functions and features.
